Robin

It is still freezing ....shiver, shiver...
Yesterday I bought some bird-food, so that the birds can find something to eat.
That brings a lot of birds coming closer to the house.
Even robin came very close.
For me a good opportunity to get him in my camera.

Ice

Its been freezing last night.
an autumn leaf is glued in the ice
and a seed from the maple is frozen under the ice.

Beyond

Last week I was experimenting with my paintbrush.
The theme inspires me to go beyond.

Fluffy not amused

Fluffy was not amused, when he saw this run-away-dog sniffing through my garden

Winter robin

There is a winter robin in my garden, but he is too quick to make a photo.
Everytime when I try to capture him, he 's gone before I can click the shutter.
In my minds eye he is still there.

hibernating ladybirds

This week I noticed a black spot in the corner of the ceiling in my studio.
Its supposed to be all white on the ceiling...
so, I took my binoculars to have a better view.
To my surprise there sat a group of ladybirds sleeping...hibernating.
I also had found some ladybirds walking around on my glass window.
They had maybe awakened because of the nice warm temperature inside.
I have picked them up to go sleep outside or maybe find something to eat.
but what do I do with the sleeping ones on the ceiling?

Sparrows

On a terras near the coast, were these lovely sparrows,
eagerly waiting, looking...

Coming so close that they dared to eat from the hand and
coming very, very close to pick the crumbs we laid out for them.
We really enjoyed it, I think even more than the sparrows enjoyed it.

Flying leaves

A little rush of wind,
makes flying leaves everywhere.
