Hedgehog

Just before turning off the lights,
I saw a hedgehog running outside.
I ran after him.
seeing what he was doing.
When he noticed me he changed into a round ball.
I gave him some of Bibi'sandFluffy's food.
He was too afraid to touch it.
so I left him alone....so that he could nibble the food without me watching.

young robin

Today came this lovely young robin to the feeding table.
You can see that he is a young, because his breast is not quite as red as the adults.
His red breast is becoming more red in the coming months.

Young Jay

A beautiful young jay is visiting the feeding table this morning.
I have seen one of his parents...also visiting the table a while ago.
Did not know they had a young.
I like the clumsy expression on this face.

Seven years

Actually it was yesterday, I was already almost in dreamland, when I remembered...
Oh yeh! Birthday today, It was too late to get out and celebrate,
and too sleepy to be honest.
So today I made a celebration and bought for iwings a present for happy blogging for 7 years!
so many miles flying through the web...I bought some glass air bubbles.

Mole 14

(CONTINUING STORY MOLE2)

Mole let these words sink in some more.
' It feels very good he said.
That I am loved just as I am.
It feels so good to be outside too!' he added.
'Much more light and not so dark.
Shall I get something to drink here outside'?
White Rabbit nodded...saying 'Yes!'

After a while they both sat down outside.
talking some more:

Mole said: 'I think I gone live outside.
and be just as I am...no more in hiding and afraid of me looking bad or ugly.
Thank you so much helping me OUT! '

Poppyseed container

In my garden I found this fragile lacy seed container of a Poppy.
Though ready for the garden bin, it still has such beauty.

Purples

Hundreds of purples are blossoming, having multiplied themselves,
without me noticing.
Aconitums, (Monnikskap), these are the more loose ones, which blossom this time of the year,
dangling graciously together with the surrounding grasses.

Weird

One week ago, I found a butterfly on the ground in my garden.
I picked it up, he seemed dead.
After a while looking carefully, and some more inspection, I decided he must be dead.
I unfolded his wings, and put him in a petri dish.
He was beautiful, even dead.

Today, One week later, my eye fell on the dish, and to my amazement the butterfly moved!
In shock, I put the butterfly outside, picked a butterflyflower, so that he could feed.
He is very weak...yet he is trying to drink some nectar from the flower.
Sigh...3 times.

young blackbird

The young blackbirds are growing very fast.
They can take care of themselves now, without screaming after mom.
